Bristol, 3rd August 2024 – Invictus Jiu-Jitsu had a successful showing at the Budo Basho South West Regional Championships in Bristol, bringing home four medals from a team of four competitors.

Highlights include two gold medals for Hiedi Rea in the female under 60kg blue belt categories: one in gi and one in no-gi . In the male categories, Invictus’ Dan Ninikashvili earned a gold medal in the gi white belt under 75kg category and Dan Evans earned a silver medal in the gi white belt under 70kg category.

Andrew Macaulay also competed in his first competition in the male gi under 80kg white belt bracket.

These results reflect the hard work and dedication all put in.

The team coached by black belt Wojciech Żbikowski finished 7th overall with significantly less competitors to earn points. Congratulations to all our competitors.
