Invictus Jiu-Jitsu has announced a new chapter in its evolution, formalising an affiliation with Fightworx Academy, one of the South West’s most established martial arts institutions, under the guidance of 3rd-degree black belt Darren Yeoman.
The announcement coincides with Invictus’s third anniversary — a milestone that reflects the growth and ambition of the academy, founded by Wojciech Żbikowski. Since its inception, Invictus has earned a reputation for inclusive community values, and commitment to its students’ progression both on and off the mats. The decision to affiliate with Fightworx represents a deliberate move to deepen its coaching pedigree and provide a clear lineage under Yeoman’s experienced leadership.
Affiliations in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are more than a formality; they offer structure, mentorship, and access to a broader competitive and instructional network. For Żbikowski and his team, this alignment ensures continued development within a proven framework and opens new opportunities for collaboration, advancement, and growth.
Based in Torquay, Newton Abbot and Brixham, Fightworx Academy has long been regarded for its high standards and holistic approach to martial arts. This affiliation will help Invictus continue its growth — built on strong foundations and now, even stronger ties.
